TIC Gums isn't just a supplier of gums and stabilizers; we are the Texture Innovation Company™. We believe in providing our customers solutions to their texture and stabilization challenges, not just selling them one particular product. In June 2008, we opened our Texture Innovation Center™ just north of Baltimore on Interstate 95 to make it easy for our customers to visit our facilities which include our R&D laboratory and pilot plant facilities and our culinary test kitchen. Often our customers bring their projects to the Center in order to work side by side with our food scientists as they evaluate formulation changes or develop new products in an environment that recreates the customer’s own manufacturing techniques. This one on one attention enables companies to quickly scale up new formulations and is a hallmark of TIC Gums’ service. Also home to our technical sales & marketing teams, the Texture Innovation Center provides the space necessary to support the expanded role technical service plays in our business. Our dedicated team of Gum Gurus™ answer questions about gums and food processing via our technical hotline and our chat feature on the TIC Gums web site. Being co-located with our research and development department enables our teams to easily exchange information and collaborate on projects For those cases where a picture is worth a thousand words, we installed the Guru Broadcasting Network at the Texture Innovation Center. This video capability lets us bring our labs to our customers’ computer screens, regardless of their location.
