The FIC 2012 expo in Shanghai, China, was the site for the launch of TicaPAN coating systems into the Asian confection market. The patent pending products offer a low cost, non-gum arabic based system that will exhibit the same or even superior functionality. TicaPAN binds and strengthens the sugar and sugar alcohol shell in panned confections, enrobes nuts, malt balls, chocolate candy, and other sweets with oil containing centers.
