By Kim Perry, Marketing Specialist Over the past 3 years, TIC Gums has supported the vision of the Villa Maria School in Harford County, MD, through the donation of books, toys, and games. The school works with children with social, behavioral, or learning challenges to provide them with intensive educational and clinical services. Similar to last year, employees shopped and collected supplies during the month of February for the Villa Maria School. These items are used to stock the school store where children can shop after accruing points for accomplishing their academic and behavioral goals. "These may be just small dollar toys to us, but it means the world to these children," says Sheritta Gilchrist, quality assurance analyst and champion for this event. This program is just one activity organized by the community service team at TIC Gums. The theme for this year's community service efforts is "Feeding the Mind & Body."
