Getting to Know Jennifer Coleman

After graduating from Clemson University with a degree in food science, Jennifer worked in the quality department for a sauce manufacturer. Not only was she responsible for analyzing the finished product but also the quality and microbiology of certain raw ingredients too. Wanting to expand her food application knowledge, Jennifer joined TIC Gums early in 2011 as a member of TIC Gums' legendary Gum Gurus® team. Jennifer is trained to have the answers when customers call or chat. They may be seeking advice on what gum system would improve their product, how to process a specific gum properly, or how a particular gum would complement their product's ingredients. "The people I work with need answers," she explains. "They need someone with a food science background and the texture and stabilization solutions to improve their products." Jennifer says the learning curve, while steep, is challenging and rewarding. "I learn something new every day, and with the Texture Revolution™ initiative, there's always something to learn." |

TIC Gums technical service representative, Jennifer Coleman is primarily responsible for providing ongoing technical and sales support for existing customers. She also develops new accounts as opportunities arise. A more accurate description could be the "the answer lady."
