Ticagel® CA 0968 S is a  functional, synergistic food system that contains a combination of starches, inulin, maltodextrin, and gums. It is recommended to apply at 20% in a well-defined formulation of  plant based block cheese.Ticagel CA 0968 S is designed to provide water binding, increased viscosity,  thermoreversible gelation, and melting . The actives help create the desired degree of viscosity, firmness and  good mouthfeel of finished product. Ticagel CA 0968 S also provides wanted attributes of plant based cheese (vegan/vegetarian) such as hardness, slicing, dicing, shredding, and melting properties.
